A branding study for an online storage and back-up solutions start-up company.
The company was started by two college students studying architecture attempting speed up their 3D renderings. The plan was to utilize a technology known as "render farming," which combines multiple computers processing power to share the load of rendering an image or animation via the internet. While investigating the required hardware, they realized it made sense to offset the cost of the rendering processors by using the same hardware for data storage and backup.
Originally, they created a logo in about 15 minutes. Now years later, this branding study looks to update the old graphic identity and replace it with a new, cleaner design that doesn't stray too far from the original concept.
